At least three mutual funds are in the market to raise funds for closed-end equity schemes even as investors fret about the near-term stock market prospects.
Kotak Mutual Fund and L&T Mutual Fund launched the fund offering recently, while Edelweiss Asset Management's scheme will open later this week. In closed-end schemes, investor money is locked in for a pre-decided period.
