Tata Mutual Fund is merging Tata Dividend Yield Fund with Tata Equity Opportunities Fund. The fund house is also merging Tata Gilt Mid Term Fund with Tata Gilt Securities Fund. These mergers will come into effect by June 1. The move is in line with the new norms mandated by the Securities and Exchange Board of India for the re-categorisation of mutual funds.
