The upside of market is capped because of oil, credit squeeze and high real interest rates and 2019 general election, while the downside is also restricted because of improving corporate performance, said Nilesh Shah, managing director at Kotak MahindraNSE 0.10 % Asset Management Company. In an interview with Sanam Mirchandani, Shah said unless one of these factors changes, the trajectory of the market will not change and it will be rangebound.
