What is a New Fund Offer?

After Sebi norms on re-categorisation and classification of mutual fund schemes, many fund houses have launched new fund offers (NFOs) to fill gaps in their product portfolio. ET tells you more about these offers.

What is an NFO?
NFOs are first-time subscription offers for a new scheme. Many funds launch NFOs to complete their product basket. For example, if an AMC does not have a hybrid fund or multicap fund, it could launch an NFO to offer that product to investo ..
