Smallcap index underperforms Sensex, falls over 1%

Falling over 1 per cent, the smallcap index was underperforming benchmark Sensex during Thursday's trade.

Around 12:10 pm, the BSE Smallcap index was 1.13 per cent down at 15790, while the BSE Sensex was 0.34 per cent down at 35,096. The NSE Nifty50 was 0.47 per cent down at 10,621.
