Are largecap mutual funds a better choice than new aggressive hybrid schemes?

Your balanced schemes are not balanced anymore. After the re-categorisation of mutual fund schemes, erstwhile equity-oriented hybrid schemes or balanced schemes are now called aggressive hybrid funds. As per the new investment norms, these schemes would invest around 65-80 per cent in stocks and 20-35 per cent of the corpus in debt.
