It is no longer an easy market to make money and investors should not expect 20% returns this year, said Taher Badshah, CIO-equity of Invesco Mutual Fund. In an interview with Prashant Mahesh, Badshah said earnings growth would pick up, but price-to-earnings ratio (PE) will contract. Momentum investing is over and investors need to be valuationsconscious and buy stocks at reasonable valuations with downside protection, he said.
