General insurers are planning to file a petition in the Supreme Court challenging an order that has made it compulsory for vehicles to have a ‘pollution under control’ (PUC) certificate to obtain motor insurance.
The insurance industry will tell the apex court that ensuring compliance of pollution norms is not its responsibility.
