Please expy who is "who can invest on their own"? By this person's definition it is the one who has invested in the mutual funds from sometime and who thinks he or she knows how it works. This is laughable. These intellectual illiterate people will will responsible for the losses crores of investors make

Also in regular plans you put blame on us if investors lose although we are not responsible for it but if a direct investor loses who will be responsible? Is SEBI responsible for safeguarding the investor money meaning is their role to see to it that investors don't lose or is it to increase their return by a megre.0.5%? And show that they can make huge return by saving this half percent and not look at 10% return on their investment. All this because AMCs wants to make highest profits at the cost of crores of investors and about 2 lakh distributors. SEBI hands in gloves with AMCs is doing everything to make it come true. Instead of banning misselling hubs like banks they are putting an end to ethical group of distributors or MFDs or IFAs. If direct investor loses they all should go to court and file a case against AMCs, AMFI and SEBI.

Why direct plans for investors in Mutual Funds only ? Why not for insurance and even share trading accounts. Why one should suffer brokerage/ Commission for these products. Let there be level field.
Why MFs only are singled out. A distributor goes to the house of Investor, collects forms, gets reports and solve problems. Where is the time for direct investors to do all these things.

This is not right. What will happen is insurance commissions will also reduce and if that happens how will it benefit us? We have to fight for our right and not punch on other fellow distributor's stomach. Please don't do it. It will divide us from the whereas we should unite with them because they have a much larger nos with them that will help us to be heard.????????. Also there are direct insurance plans at present which are as bad as direct mutual funds.

AMFI is yet to understand why there is a meager growth of mutual fund in India which is only 5 to 7? viz a viz other countries. There is a famous saying that goes, AMFI is penny wise, pound foolish.
