    Liquid funds are offering 6.89 per cent in the last one year, compared to 7 per cent offered by most bank fixed deposits. Some private sector banks are offering much higher interest on their fixed deposits. For example, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank are offering 7.25 per cent on their one-year FD. That raises an important question: Does it make sense to park your money in liquid funds?
