Retail investors in large equity mutual fund schemes stand to gain the most from Sebi's decision on Tuesday to cut the fees they pay to mutual funds (MFs) to manage their investments.
In some cases, the investors would be able to save up to 70 basis points (100bps = 1 percentage point), which will add up to their investible funds and compound over the years.
