Mutual funds are betting heavily on the IT sector. Their holdings in the IT sector stocks have increased their holdings by 10 per cent in January. Mutual funds have invested Rs 88,693 crore in IT companies in January, shows data from Ace MF.
Mutual fund managers say return of growth, fair valuations in the sector, especially in the most recent quarter, and currency depreciation are fueling investments in IT sector.
