Investors in six fixed maturity plans of Kotak Mutual Fund will not be able to redeem their investments completely due to the exposure of these schemes to troubled Essel Group. The news has raised concern among debt mutual fund investors about the safety of their investments. Lakshmi Iyer, CIO - debt & head - products, Kotak AMC, tells ET Now that the fund house has taken the decision with investors' interest in mind. Transcript of the interview.
