Most critical illness plans cover cancer

I was diagnosed with urinary bladder cancer in 2010 and the tumour was removed. Now I get a check-up done every six months and am doing fine. But my insurer is neither giving me a fresh plan nor increasing my sum insured from the present ₹2 lakh. How should I enhance my cover, with or without the cancer plan? Will going to other insurers help?
