As an ode to the health insurance policyholders and to make health insurance way more customer-oriented, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has issued several new guidelines defining the new laws and policies around Exclusions and Pre-existing Diseases (PED) in health insurance covers.
