    Banking sector funds are offering 18% returns in one year. Should you invest?

    A large part of the stress recognition in the banking system has been done. Slippage ratios of banks are going down for most of the banks. This trend is likely to continue, says fund manager Amit Premchandani.

    Banking sector funds are topping the returns charts in the last one year period. The category has offered an average return of 18.29% in the last year. Tata Banking and Financial Services Fund is topping the category with 34.52% returns. The top three schemes in the category are offering more than 30% returns in one year. The top 15 funds are returning above 20% in the same period.
