Axis Mutual Fund has recently launched a retirement savings fund. Some mutual fund advisors believe the scheme, or a similar existing scheme, is ideal for undisciplined investors who can’t continue with or hold on to their investments. However, some advisors counter the claim: they say investors don’t need a dedicated retirement scheme to fund their golden years, just any open-ended equity mutual fund that is in line with their risk profile would do the job.
