We must move from incentives to understanding and advice based purchase of financial products. The original proposals in the Direct Tax Code should be applied and all tax inventives should be abolished. People are educated, using unlimited social media. They must learn to buy necessary protection for their lives for the risks of death, disability and disease by understanding the need and taking advice from the concerned rather than blindly buying something for tax incentives. Incentives should be paid to the tax payers as per the amount of tax paid by them.
