How investors in debt MFs can navigate a rising yield scenario

Covid-19 accelerated a long-running trend of lower interest rates in India. The RBI aggressively eased liquidity and brought down bond yields in April and May 2020 after the pandemic disrupted India’s economy. These measures produced one-off gains for debt mutual funds even as they brought yields down to historic lows.
