    MFs hike trail commissions by up to 50% for big distributors in NFO push

    Fund houses are doling out higher trail commissions to big distributors and wealth management firms to boost NFO mobilisation. Asset managers have collected nearly Rs 20,000 crore of inflows via the NFO route in the past six months.

    Earlier 10 years back mf offered high commission. Now the same aum receiving 0.25 percentage only citing expense ratio. Le t the asset management Companies should rise the trail for the existing aum.let them pay regular plan aum after deducting direct plan expense ratio. Don't fall prey to the high commissions offered by the amc for nfo.
