While buying mutual funds low NAV does not mean buying cheap. In fact, buyers are advised not to fall for this NAV narrative
What is NAV??
NAV, or Net asset value (NAV), is the price at which a mutual fund unit is bought or sold by any investor. Since the stock market is dynamic in nature and keeps changing every day, the NAV of respective funds also keeps changing every day. It is used to calculate the number of units to be allotted to an investor and to calculate returns of a fund. But an investor need not track it on a day-to-day basis.
