Fund managers were gung ho on a dozen of midcap stocks in January, whose performance have largely been mixed in 2022 so far.
Data showed mutual funds held 4.42 crore Bandhan Bank shares worth Rs 1,394 crore at January-end compared with 3.27 crore shares worth Rs 825 crore at the end December. This stock has climbed 27 per cent so far in 2022 and has seen no sign of weakness.
