A total of 485 BSE500 companies have come out with their quarterly shareholding patterns and some 56 of those companies have seen mutual funds (MFs) increasing stakes by at least 100 basis points. Data showed at least 18 companies saw MFs hiking stakes by over 200 basis points while five companies even saw fund managers upping stakes by over 300 basis points.
