Navneet Munot, MD and CEO, HDFC Mutual Fund, said that companies which have better governance, are aligned with the environment, will do better in the longer term. Munot and Vetri Subramniam, CIO- UTI Mutual Fund, were speaking at the Morningstar Investment Conference, 2022, in Mumbai about sustainable investing.
The global ESG assets stand at around 2.5 trillion US dollars. The number stood at 3 trillion US Dollars before the start of the Covid -19 pandemic.
