Mutual fund houses are busy launching new schemes at the beginning of the New Year. New fund offers (NFOs) of at least 15 schemes are hitting the markets in January. Most of these new funds are passive or index-based debt schemes. This is because market analysts believe that with the interest rate cycle reaching its end, debt funds would be better placed in 2023.
