SIP AUM hits a record high in May amid sustained inflows

ET Intelligence Group: The assets under management (AUM) of funds linked to the systematic investment plan (SIP) category reached a record Rs7.5 lakh crore in May 2023, the data from the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) showed. The 12-month rolling cumulative SIP inflow was at a record Rs 1.6 lakh crore helped by the highest monthly SIP inflow of Rs14,748 crore in May 2023. The SIP AUM increased by 33% over the past 12 months, which was twice the rate of growth of the overall mutual funds AUM.
