Around 51 equity schemes have underperformed their respective benchmarks in three, five, seven, and 10-year horizons, an analysis by ETMutualFunds showed. For the study, ETMutualFunds considered the trailing returns of around 138 equity schemes that have been in the market for 10 years.
These 51 schemes were from ELSS, flexi cap, focused fund, large & mid cap, large cap, mid cap, and value fund categories.
