Many investors are continuing to invest in small cap funds because of the impressive returns by these schemes in the recent past and in hopes of similar returns in future. Sure, small cap funds indeed have given higher returns (over 30%) in the last one year. However, do these schemes indeed offer higher returns than other main mutual fund categories in the long term?
