    Mutual funds buy the dip in HDFC Bank shares with Rs 14,000-crore investment

    Mutual fund houses bought shares of HDFC Bank worth Rs 13,849 crore in January, following a dip of around 14% in the bluechip bank stock during the month after disappointing Q3 results.


    Mutual funds owned 136.26 crore of HDFC Bank shares in January, up 6.92% from 127.44 crore shares held in December, indicating net buying of around 88,307,659 shares, according to the Prime database.
