Women outpacing men with higher AUM, long-term outlook in mutual funds

The proactive approach undertaken by women investors to achieve financial autonomy and growth, underscoring their commitment to long-term investing. Once women begin investing in mutual funds, they are more persistent as compared to their male counterparts. This is demonstrated by the gender-based distribution of Assets Under Management (AUM) among Axis Mutual Fund retail investors, according to a report by Axis Mutual Fund titled “Women Investment Behaviour Report 2024”
