Life insurers see margin squeeze amid sales push

Life insurance companies reported a margin reduction of up to 600 basis points, or 6 percentage points, in the April-June quarter, although Life Insurance Corp of India managed a slight improvement, thanks to a revised product strategy at the state-run market leader.
