Are you searching for a competent financial adviser? You will be lucky to find one currently, as very few still operate amid an exacting regulatory environment. However, if things work out as planned, an army of newly anointed money managers will soon open shop. Big changes are afoot for this tiny community of around 950-odd registered investment advisers (RIA) and 2,700 certified financial planners (CFP).
