    Arbitrage funds catch investor fancy as flows hit Rs 4,300 crore in January

    ​At a time when markets are seeing a lot of volatility with the benchmarks and broader indices in the red, arbitrage funds seem to be gaining popularity amongst mutual fund investors.

    Data from the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) shows that flows in hybrid funds more than doubled in January at 8,768 crore and within the category, arbitrage funds were the star performer, accounting for the bulk of the net flows at Rs 4,292 crore..
