In a first of its kind initiative to bring financial advisers of the city on one common platform, a meeting of around 150 such professionals was convened on Friday and Ludhiana Association of Financial Advisers (LFA) was formed to share and voice concerns of the fraternity.
The meeting was chaired by Raghav Aggarwal who informed members that the association will also act as a forum for cross fertilisation of progressive ideas which can help investors in long-term financial planning. Financial advisers will be updated about the latest developments in the industry regularly.
During the meeting, it was also decided that LFA will conduct regular training programmes for advisers and city residents and help facilitate greater penetration of mutual funds in Punjab.
