    Debt mutual funds’ investment in G-Secs drops to 13-month low

    Debt mutual funds have been gradually lowering their allocation to government securities (G-Secs) in the past few months, with the number hitting the lowest after 13 months in April.

    According to data made available by capital market regulator SEBI, the mutual fund industry invested 12.44 per cent of its debt corpus in G-Secs, amounting to Rs. 1,22,491 crore.
