The Indian equity market has bounced back smartly since the post Brexit June 24 Black Friday. This has catapulted select large-cap stocks to their 52-week or life-time highs (such as M&M) as value buying gathered momentum.
While nearly a third of the stocks in the Nifty 50 and Nifty 100 touched 52-week highs post Brexit, the corresponding figure is 18-22 per cent for the Nifty Midcap, Nifty Smallcap and Nifty 500 indices.
