Axis Mutual Fund's equities head Pankaj Murarka quits

Pankaj Murarka, head of equities of Axis Mutual Fund has resigned from the company. Murarka, who has been working with the fund house since 2009, managed three equity funds with assets of about Rs 3,750 crore. As on June 30, Axis Mutual Fund has an average AUM of Rs 40,868 crore and is ranked number 11 in the 44-player mutual fund industry.
