Mutual funds have increased their stake in many companies that are part of the BSE Sensex, even as foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have pared their holdings in the three-month period between April and June.
According to the latest shareholding data, mutual funds (MFs) have emerged as a strong counter force to FIIs by increasing their stake in as many as 11 Sensex stocks in which FIIs reduced their exposure in the June quarter.
