Benchmark yield at 7-yr low at 7.10% as RBI infuses liquidity

Helped by easy liquidity in the banking system, the benchmark yield on the 10-year government security (G-sec) closed at 7.10%, almost a seven-year low level. The last time the benchmark had closed below this level was at 7.03% on August 13, 2009.
