Today, developers in the National Capital Region (NCR) are sitting on unsold stock of about 186,000 units, accounting for 26% of all the unsold stock all over India. It will take several months for developers to clear the current inventory.
For instance, in Greater Noida about 90,000 units are available for sale, which will take 41 months to clear at current sale volumes. Similarly, Gurgaon and Ghaziabad have an inventory of about 32,000 units each, which would take 40 and 39 months, respectively, to be sold. Noida has an inventory of about 28,000 units, which would take 39 months and Faridabad with approximately 3,400 units will take 31 months to get rid of the current inventory at current sale levels.
