    Mint classroom: How to transfer money using NEFT

    If you want to send money to a friend or buy forex for a vacation, your credit or debit card will be of little use. If you don’t have cash at hand, you could write a cheque but that would take time to clear. One way to overcome this hurdle is to use National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT), with which you can transfer up to Rs10 lakh using your bank account. Mint Money explains how to use NEFT online.
