2016: a difficult year for real estate

Real estate has gone through many ups and downs in the past few years, but things have moved in favour of home buyers. A lot of this happened in 2016. While a significant price correction across the country may not have happened, developments such as implementation of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA), the new benami property Act, and then demonetization, are expected to improve the situation for a homebuyer.
