With equity markets going through turbulent times, Indians are shifting away from Ulips and opting more for traditional pension products and life products, according to latest data with the insurance regulator. More people bought life insurance (67.8% of total products sold) and pension policies (18.6%) in 2015-16 compared to 66.5% and 17.3% respectively in 2014-15.
