The Union Budget 2017 has already provoked a slew of expectations and predictions among Indians. Last year’s budget came with tax reforms like cheaper house rates, an increase in the tax exemption on the rent paid, income tax benefits for small businesses and start-ups, and so on. This year, the biggest tax reform is going to be the implementation of the Goods and Service Tax (GST).
