BSE's MF platform gets record 1.34 lakh orders on Friday

MUMBAI: Leading stock exchange BSE's mutual fund platform on Friday processed a record 1.34 lakh orders in a single day.

Prior to this, the MF platform had hit the one lakh level on September 12, 2016.

"BSE StAR MF today received 1,34,271 orders from 522 members -- a record high," a BSE spokesperson said.

The 1.34 lakh orders placed amounted to Rs 270 crore in value terms. Currently, the BSE mutual fund platform has a total of 2,860 registered members.
