    When some of the other closed-end mutual fund schemes have rolled over, despite good performance the IDFC AMC did not roll over its closed-end fund. Let’s find out why

    Past performance does not guarantee future returns for investors. It also does not guarantee investor interest for the fund house. Despite a successful run by IDFC Equity Opportunities Series 2 (IEO2)—one of the first closed-end schemes to be launched in 2013, before the central government elections of 2014—investors didn’t opt for a rollover. IDFC Asset Management Co. Ltd has wound up the scheme and refunded its unitholders.
