Ask ET Mutual Funds: Should I go for regular or direct option?

    Source: ET Mar 2, 2017

I am 23 years old. I am planning to invest Rs 5,000 in mutual funds for a long period (10 years). My goal is to buy a house when I am 33 years old, for wealth creation to support my family. I am also looking for short term SIP for three to five years. Where should I invest my money so that I can get great returns. As I am a new investor, should I go for the regular or direct option.

How silly. Everyone wants to go direct as if the distributor commission is so burdensome that they will loose their entire gains in that. Distributor has been made into devil which is not true by any chance. People who do not understand finance think they know it well just by going online and studying some basic principles. How silly?
