    Assets under management of balanced funds doubles to Rs 77,100 crore: AMFI

    Assets under management of balanced funds have doubled to Rs 77,100 crore from Rs 39,000 crore over the past year, according to data from AMFI.

    Typically, these funds invest in a mix of equities and bonds, and allocate a minimum of 65% in equities, with the rest invested in debt instruments.

    “Investors believe that markets are at elevated levels and do not want to risk their entire capital into equity-oriented mutual funds,” said Amol Joshi, founder, Plan Rupee Investme ..
