Around 60 per cent of regular mutual fund investors use Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs) to invest in mutual funds, a recent Sebi survey revealed. The survey, called Sebi Investors Survey (SIS), 2015, highlights many important findings in the mutual funds space.
According to the survey, due to the ease of investing in mutual funds through SIPs along with the diversification benefits, most investors prefer MFs to equities or bonds. Additionally, the publicity of SIPs and the MF industry over the past ten years has seen an enormous increase.
