In its relatively short existence of seven year, Axis Long Term Equity Fund has earned a name for itself. It was on the recommendation list of every mutual fund advisor in the country until recently. However, many advisors have removed it from the list after the fund started underperforming its peers by a wide margin. The scheme is underperforming its benchmark in the one-year period.
